The Cedar Tree is a Christian shop selling books, gifts and coffees. We are looking for someone who is flexible enough to work in all aspects of the shop and can use their initiative where needed. You need to be smart, reliable, quick to learn, literate and numerate, very good with people and be able to be busy and active all day. This is a great opportunity for someone aged 16-21 to get their first experience of working in this kind of environment.

The post holder will be one of several employees who publicly demonstrate the ethos of Hexham Community Church and as such the post holder is expected to have clear personal commitment to the Christian Faith. Accordingly, the post has been designated as having a genuine occupational requirement (GOR) for the post holder to be a Christian.
